Project P.I.T.T. Item Weights & the 200 kg Platform
After the fuses go in, a weighing plate opens on the wall reading 0 / 200 kg. It wants mass, not a count — 200 rubber ducks is the painful way. Here is the weight data, including where the community sources disagree.
Confirmed weights
These values are read directly off the platform display and reported consistently:
| Item | Weight |
|---|---|
| Panel | 2 kg |
| Basketball Hoop | 3 kg |
| Piston | 5 kg |
| Wheeled Cart | 6 kg |
| Industrial Turbine (Fan level 3) | 8 kg |
Reported but conflicting
Community guides disagree on a few items — likely because opened vs unopened state and container contents change the reading. Trust your own platform display over any table, ours included.
| Item | Reported values | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Gambling Crate | 5 kg measured on-platform; ~10 kg opened in another guide | Unconfirmed as of Aug 26, 2026 — state seems to matter |
| Bumper | ~5 kg | Check the display before bulk-buying |
| Remote | ~1 kg | Too light to be a practical load |
| Rubber Duck | unknown | Bulk piles register, but one duck is below display precision |
| Lucky / Golden ducks | unknown | Higher value does not automatically mean higher mass |
One nuance both Steam guides agree on: for the percent pipe next door, higher-quality items count for more — but on the scale, value and mass are separate properties. Don’t burn gold ducks on the plate expecting a shortcut.
Cheapest clean loads
You need at least 200 kg — going over is fine, exact landing is not required. Arithmetic examples from the confirmed table:
- 25 Industrial Turbines × 8 kg = 200 kg (bulky but simple)
- 34 Wheeled Carts × 6 kg = 204 kg
- 40 Pistons × 5 kg = 200 kg
- 100 Panels × 2 kg = 200 kg (cheap, tedious)
- Mixed load: 20 Turbines (160) + 7 Carts (42) = 202 kg
The practical favorite: stick a panel box together, dump heavy items in, and weigh the whole container — carrying one box beats ferrying 40 pistons one at a time. A big pile of gambling crates also works (about 40 unopened by the ~5 kg reading), which doubles as progress toward the crate hunt.
What happens at 200
- The hidden HEAVY? achievement pops (20.0% of players).
- A grate/chute with a number screen and % bar appears — the next gate. Raw ducks leave it at 0% by design; it wants later-phase or assembled products. That step continues in the secret ending route, step 5.
- There is often a cash register sitting next to that chute — don’t smash your only one if a puzzle still needs it (the shop sells replacements).
FAQ
Do I need exactly 200 kg? No — 200 or more.
Can I use ducks? Piles register weight, but a single duck is too light to measure reliably. Use the confirmed items.
The plate reads differently from this table. Updates and item state change values — the display on your save is the truth. (Weights above cross-checked between the on-platform readings and the Steam 100% guide, August 26, 2026.)
