Project P.I.T.T. Patch Notes & Updates
The full official timeline, summarized from Froke’s Steam announcements. Newest first.
Update 1.0.5 — August 22, 2026
The first big post-launch patch:
- Panel Rack — new multi-level upgrade to carry more than one panel at a time (tools database).
- Clear Items button (pause menu) — removes loose items that could crash the game; gives no money back (performance).
- Save and quit option + “Are you sure?” prompt on quitting (saves).
- Flat placement: double-tap reset-rotation to lay an object flat — panel builders rejoice (panels).
- Full rebinding: every action rebindable, including scroll up/down individually; fixed an invisible entry that blocked some rebinds (controls).
- Torch Light and UV Lamp now collect when they should and work immediately (T to toggle).
- Player can no longer spawn above the hole and fall repeatedly, or get stuck in the spawn tube.
- Key items stuck in walls now respawn — ores go straight to the bank.
- All physical buttons work with Interact (F), Equip (E) and grab/drop (LMB).
- Follow-up hotfix: erratic Panel Rack behavior, missing ores and pickaxe issues.
Phase 3 fix — August 20, 2026
One day after launch, responding to players whose automation lines were wrecked: the scripted Phase 3 event has been removed. “Your factory should no longer be punished for being a factory.” Details and what still drops rubble: Phase 3 debris.
Launch — August 19, 2026
Out on Steam at $9.99 with a 15% two-week discount and launch bundles (Berry Bury Berry, Scale the Depths, Sort Them Ducks). The August 12 launch FAQ had already confirmed regional prices, Steam Deck Verified status, and that the demo stays available.
