Project P.I.T.T. Endings: END? and END! Explained
Project P.I.T.T. ends more than once, on purpose. Here is how the finale is structured — mechanics first, story beats left unspoiled.
END? — the first credits
Feed The Maw enough and the facility plays an internship/stats sequence: your first credits. In the demo this fired when the hole got big enough; in the full game it is the first credit dump, not the end of content. Only 2.6% of players had seen it as of late August — most are still building factories, which says a lot about this game.
The game continues after the sequence. Nothing is lost, nothing resets.
END! — the real ending
Keep playing past END?: the remaining phases, assembly, the upstairs pipe, the rest of the terminal. When the facility has nothing left to give, the second, real ending plays. The achievement checklist version: if you only have the ”?” ending, you are not done.
Practical requirements are the completionist spine — progression through Phase 4, the upstairs chain (fuses → 200 kg → percent pipe), and enough economy to keep buying unlocks.
The secret ending — a separate route
Independent of END?/END!, there is a hidden route that starts with destroying cameras and finding mystery boxes, runs through the fuse box, the 200 kg platform, the percent pipe, two hidden minigames, a UV flashlight, a crafted access card, and finishes with a per-save elevator code. It has its own page with all 11 steps: the secret ending route.
If you searched “project pitt code ending” — the code is the elevator keypad code from that route. It is unique to each save (revealed by UV clues), so nobody can hand you a universal number. The secret ending page shows exactly where your save’s code is written.
After the secret ending
“What do I do after the secret ending?” — the sandbox stays open. Common cleanup, in rough order of effort: the remaining achievements (MEGA!, FAST!, STUFFED!, RICH!, CONSUMERISM!), bigger automation lines, and the pure number-goes-up endgame. The developer’s post-100% advice amounts to: bigger lanes, later products, and the number can go stupid — that is the game.
